The SecurGlass® brand represents a glass reinforced with a particular heat treatment that gives it a mechanical resistance superior to that of other glasses.
It is more stiff, has greater thermal resistance and shatters into small pieces when broken.
Because it has these characteristics it is used in cases where the glass is subjected to permanent loads or placed in important places.
Where the use of glass can pose a danger to the physical integrity of people, the use of this type of glass is recommended.
